OASIS is a great place to build new friendships through special outings, and always with sharing meals together.

We would love to have the opportunity to welcome you to OASIS and help you discover the service the Lord has for you. We are never past the age of being valuable in the Kingdom of God. Our years of life provide much needed experience and wisdom that can benefit the church in our pursuit of His purpose.

Monthly meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Watch bulletin announcements to get the details for each meeting. Meals are usually pot luck with a theme and each person brings a dish and dessert. For more information contact Agnes Ellis at   850-227-1778.

MOUNTAIN MOVERS INTERCESSORY PRAYER TEAM

Mountain Movers Intercessory Team is a vital link in the success of every other ministry at Oak Grove. Our source for wisdom and power come directly from the throne room of heaven. God alone is our hope to fulfill the mission of the church. We believe prayer is the bedrock foundation for all we do.

Isaiah 62:6: O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray to the Lord day and night for the fulfillment of his promises.

Mission: For Christians to come together and take their places in prayer and use the spiritual authority we have been given to pray as Jesus taught us, in order to bring God’s kingdom and will to earth.

Vision: Mobilize the Body of Christ across denominational and racial boundaries, forming an army of watchmen that join together in prayer for the fulfillment of God’s promises and His perfect will.

SUNLIGHT KIDS AGES 0-3

Sunlight Kids is the perfect way to start your children’s spiritual journey. Sunlight Kids provides proven teaching methods from loving teachers for training infants to toddlers. Our dedicated staff of teachers has the best resources utilizing music, word stories, crafts, and games to engage your child in learning. Every month, kids discover a foundational Bible story that reinforces a timeless truth from God’s Word. Songs and guided play times give the lessons life, and Make and Take activities bring the lessons home. Your kids will grow closer to Jesus by discovering His Word in a way they can understand.

"The Sunlight Kids program is wonderful! It really is amazing to see how much the little ones can retain. Just spending time working with them on Wednesday nights, we have seen a couple of the boys pick up on the songs and memory verses. One little boy learned how to say "Hallelujah," and another told his mom that "God made EVERYTHING!!!". I feel like we're actually accomplishing something, and not just babysitting them while mom and dad are in service. "

LITTLE LAMBS AGES 4-5

Our children are the most precious treasure God has entrusted to us. Our loving dedicated teaching staff prepare lessons, games, songs, and activities that reinforce Biblical truths. Lessons taught on Sunday morning are repeated on Wednesday evening providing the repetition needed for learning. The Little Lambs class is held in our educational building. You can sign your child in at the side entrance to the building where they will receive a name tag with a corresponding number. They may only be released to a parent or guardian who has the matching number for their child. Safety and security are a priority for our children.

KIDS ON THE MOVE AGES 6-11

Sunday mornings are filled with activities, singing, Bible training, games, videos, puppets, and interactive learning for children. Our dedicated volunteer staff of children’s ministers is committed to introducing kids to know Christ. We believe these formative years are critical in preparing children for active roles in ministry to the body.

Kids on the Move believes that kids can begin to learn to serve others through participating in the services rather than just observing. Kids are valuable to Jesus and they are of great value to us as well.

MINISTRY IN ACTION 1 & 2

REVOLUTION STUDENT MINISTRIES

Vision Statement: REVOLUTION YOUTH Ministries will REACH and Disciple youth in Christ, who will IMPACT our community.

Dear Guest, We are glad you visited our web page today. We want you to know that it was not by coincidence that you found our website. It was orchestrated by God for you in the hope that He might lead you to us.

We have youth facing real issues and real problems in the world we live in. God spoke through our Pastor that we should not despise the small things, as we began our quest as warriors for Christ. Today we have grown to what we know as REVOLUTION YOUTH Ministries. Though we are many, we have one heartbeat, beating in unison, with a common desire to glorify our King and serve a world in need.

Ps 107:13-16 states: 13 "LORD, help!" they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 14 He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains. 15 Let them praise the LORD for his great love and for all his wonderful deeds to them. 16 For he broke down their prison gates of bronze; he cut apart their bars of iron.

This is our deepest desire. We want each one, young and old, that walks through our doors to be free and experience a real God who can solve anything.

We are not interested in REVOLUTION YOUTH ministries being exalted or lifted up. We do not care to see our name in lights. We have an undying, Holy passion to lift the Banner of Jesus Christ in order for people to see the truth and know that He is the only way to heaven. We are warriors and as such, our desire is to do battle, taking back what the Word of God says is rightfully ours: OUR GENERATION!!!!

Message Actors

Matt 5:13

"It is our desire to take the message of Jesus Christ to the lost through personal expression and bring everyone to a deeper relationship with Him."

The youth of Oak Grove Church have come together to share their love of Christ through drama in church services and on the streets. This ministry utilizes the talents and gifts in this body such as acting, lighting, music, sound, carpentry, sewing, and much more to illustrate the lessons of Jesus Christ to our community and beyond.

MEN OF PURPOSE

Motto: Disciples making disciples

Jesus was a man of purpose. He knew where He came from, why He came, and where He was going. This awareness affected everything: where He went, who He hung around, and what He did. He lived with PURPOSE.  If you want to minister and be with men, you need to be aware of your purpose. It affects everything you do!. Matthew 28:19-20. This statement sums up the single mission of Jesus’ own life. The command is to “make disciples.” A disciple is a follower, learner, and imitator. Jesus doesn’t instruct us to make converts or good church attendees, but to make disciples. How to do that is found in these three phrases.

1.       Go. This might be better translated “as you to.” As you go through life, make disciples. Disciple making takes place in the everyday activity of life; as you go to work, the fitness center, the ballgame, and home. Going is about relationships.

2.       Baptize. This means to identify with the cause of Christ – both His person and work. Baptism is an external expression of an inner reality. Baptism shows a commitment to follow Christ.

3.       Teach. This verb speaks of helping disciples grow into mature followers of Jesus. It also represents how they can build their disciple making ministries as well.

So what is the overriding purpose of our ministry to men? To make disciples, who will make disciples, who will make disciples. God’s goal for the church was simply to be an environment for making disciples. The church should be nothing more than a group of people who are being and building disciples by calling people to come and see, follow, remain, and go out in Jesus’ name. God wants the church to have the mission of Jesus.  The purpose for having a ministry is much greater than just helping people be better husbands, fathers, workers, citizens, etc. These are good things but not the best. Our purpose for men’s ministry is to reach people who don’t know Jesus and make them disciples of Christ. The only way to accomplish this goal is through men who seriously take Christ command to make disciples.

WOMEN OF PURPOSE

Women of Purpose Ministries is a fellowship of women at Oak Grove Church whose mission is to equip and empower women to grow in wisdom, knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ; to fulfill their kingdom purpose; and disciple others as they grow. We offer weekly Bible Studies and sponsor many events such as brunches, conferences, and road trips. We embrace women from all walks of life and are committed to bring healing, wholeness, and purpose to all women.

MUSIC: PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Our praise and worship team is a dedicated group of people that love the Lord with all their hearts. They are not worship leaders, but leaders in worship.

John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." NIV

True worship is not raised arms, showy, or extravagant. True worship is from the heart. Angels praise Him, everything that has breath praises Him, but God created us to worship Him. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords desires our praise. It is because He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. That is why we sing to Him.

As we sing, God inhabits the praises of His people. Please join us as we worship God with our hearts, soul and mind for our Lord our God is truly worthy of all the praise.

FISH & LOAVES

Inspired by a love deep within the heart of Jackie Bricker, the Fish & Loaves Ministry was formed. This ministry has flourished from a humble beginning in a very small kitchen to a commercially equipped “Cookhouse”.

Home cooked meals are prepared five days a week by ladies and men who graciously volunteer their services to provide for those in need. Meals are delivered on a daily basis to the clients who qualify. Meals are provided for individuals who have medical conditions or other physical restrictions that would hinder them from providing meals for themselves at their homes. The ministry is funded by the church, love offerings and individual donations.

It is the desire of the Fish and Loaves Ministry to portray the love of God by being obedient and fulfilling His command to “Feed My Sheep” John 21:17

Volunteers are always needed. Pray and ask the Lord how He can use you in this ministry. If interested, please call Jackie Bricker at 227-3713 (Home) 227-6758 (Cell), Jim Gainnie 227-1272 (Home) 227-6169 (Cell). The Lord will richly bless you

STITCHES OF FAITH

Stitches of Faith is a hands on ministry that meets every Tuesday night excluding the first Tuesday of the month. We create prayer quilts for the chronically ill and homebound. You don’t have to be an experienced seamstress, just have a heart of love and a willingness to learn. We are as blessed by the fellowship as we sew patches and design quilts, as we are by delivering those quilts to those in need.

Stitches of Faith exists to provide care to the sick through the creation of prayer quilts. These quilts are gifts of reminder that the Lord is our covering and by His anointing we are healed.
